xiQ is looking for a Junior Accountant!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and Timely Bookkeeping
  • Payroll Management
  • Accounts Payable and Treasury Management
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Assist with other accounting projects
Requirements:
  • Education: MBA Finance / MS Accounting & Finance/ Part Qualified ACCA/ICMA/CA will be preferred
  • Experience: At least 2 Year post qualification (for Masters’ degree holder) and at least 1 year experience with Part qualified ACCA/ICMA/CA
  • Good understanding of accounting standards
  • Good Communication Skills
  • MS-Office
  • Proficient in Accounting Software preferably Quick Books
  • SAP or Oracle ERP knowledge would be preferable
  • Prior working experience in group accounting will be preferred
