xiQ Privacy Policy
The Data Privacy Policy (“Policy”) of xiQ, Inc. (“xiQ”, “we,” or “us”) and xiQ Service (“Service”), including the xiQ mobile and tablet application (“App”) and xiQ Chrome Extension (including Gmail and other integrations), is incorporated into and is subject to the xiQ Terms of Use.
This Policy covers information that we collect when you use our Service, including through our Chrome Extension, and information that we have on people who are featured in our platform. We describe how we use and disclose such information, steps we take to protect such information and the choices you have in connection with this. By using the Service, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy.
A) Users of Our Service
The information we collect on the Service:
User-provided Information.
When you use the Service, you may provide and we may collect what is generally called “personally identifiable” information, or “personal information,” which is information that specifically identifies an individual. We may only collect the following information: Full name, Email address, Job title, and Organization name. You may provide us with personal information when you register for an account or use the Service.
“Automatically Collected” Information.
When you use the Service, we may automatically record certain information from your device by using various types of technology, including “clear gifs” or “web beacons.” This information may include your IP address, device ID, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps of usage.
Location Information.
With your permission, we may collect information about your location, including IP-based location, GPS data, or cell tower data, to enhance and personalize the Service.
Analytics.
We may work with third-party analytics providers, including Flurry Analytics, to better understand how users interact with our Service. These providers may collect usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to track user activity, maintain sessions, and improve the Service.
Information from Other Sources.
We may obtain information from third parties such as partners, advertisers, and integrated services. If you connect third-party services (such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Outlook), we may access information authorized by those services, such as profile details and employment information.
Chrome Extension (Gmail and Workspace Integrations)
When you use the xiQ Chrome Extension, including within Gmail or other supported platforms, we may access and process certain data strictly for the purpose of providing the Service:
- Email metadata, such as sender name, email address, and subject line
- Limited email content, only when required to generate insights, summaries, or AI-generated responses
- Contact and profile information visible within your email interface
This information is accessed only when you actively use the extension features, and is not collected continuously in the background.
We access and process this data solely to:
- Provide AI-powered assistance (such as drafting emails, summaries, and notes)
- Generate behavioral insights and DISC-based analysis
- Improve user productivity and communication effectiveness
We follow a principle of data minimization, collecting only the data necessary to provide these features.
We do not sell user data, and we do not use email or personal content for advertising outside the Service.
Publicly Available Information (People Featured on Platform)
We may collect publicly available information about individuals, including social media data, news, blogs, education, and career history, to provide insights within our platform.
How we use the information we collect:
We use information we collect on the Service in a variety of ways, including:
- To operate, maintain, enhance, and provide all features of the Service
- To respond to comments, questions, and provide customer support
- To process and deliver services requested by users
- To analyze usage trends and improve the Service
- To develop new products, services, and features
- To generate AI-driven outputs through xiQ’s systems (including behavioral insights and content generation)

- To contact you for administrative purposes

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers.
We work with third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, AI processing, and integrations. These include:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and storage
- OpenAI (Enterprise API) for AI processing (data is not used to train OpenAI models)
- Flurry Analytics for usage analytics
These providers may process your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
Third-Party Integrations.
If you enable integrations such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Outlook, data may be shared between these platforms and xiQ to enable functionality.
Public Areas.
Information you choose to share in public areas of the Service may be visible to others.
Platform Subscribers.
Insights generated from publicly available data may be accessible to licensed xiQ customers for professional use.
Legal Requirements.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request.
Business Transfers.
Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Internal Access.
Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel (e.g., Database Operations, Product Support, Client Services) based on business need.
B) People Featured on our Platform
xiQ provides predictive DISC analysis based on publicly available data. These insights are behavioral predictions and:
- Are not intended to determine employability, creditworthiness, or eligibility
- Must not be used for credit, insurance, or employment decisions under applicable laws
Your Rights to Your Information
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct or update your data
- Request deletion of your data (processed within 2 business days)
- Opt out of certain data uses
- Request explanation of generated insights

Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
